Bob Pollard

Bob is a Senior Director on the Shore Resource Team at Shore Capital Partners, a microcap private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Bob’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to improve operational performance, implement strategic initiatives, and prepare for add-on acquisitions and de novo growth.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Bob was a Director at KPMG in Chicago within the Deal Advisory – Financial Due Diligence practice. While at KPMG, Bob specialized in providing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services to middle-market Private Equity clients across multiple verticals including healthcare, industrial products, consumer packaged goods, and business services. Bob’s main responsibilities included analyzing target company data to provide meaningful insights around quality of earnings, net working capital, and financial and operating trends. Prior to joining the FDD group, Bob rotated through other Deal Advisory groups, performing financial due diligence for lenders, separation and integration consulting, and accounting advisory for carveouts.

 

Bob received both his M.S. and B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he also minored in Leadership Studies. Bob is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
