Wayne Brinster

Wayne Brinster serves as Lead Independent Director on the Board of Directors of CELLTREAT Scientific Products. A three-time CEO, Wayne brings more than 30 years of experience building and selling laboratory products and diagnostics businesses. He is Founder and Managing Director of Spring House Ventures, which invests in and advises early-stage life science and healthcare companies.

As President and CEO of Wheaton Industries (now DWK Life Sciences), a manufacturer of glass and plastic life science tools, Wayne led a turnaround, three acquisitions and European expansion, launched several unique products in tissue culture and chromatography. and guided the company’s sale to One Equity Partners. He later led MedTest Dx, a clinical diagnostics manufacturer and distributor, through its integration and sale to HORIBA, and PreciseDx, an AI-enabled cancer diagnostics company spun out of Mount Sinai. Earlier, at Becton, Dickinson and Company, he ran BD’s $350 million worldwide Molecular Diagnostics and Women’s Health business and led corporate business development. Wayne holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Miami.
