Carolyn Rendos

Carolyn is a Director at Shore Capital Partners, a microcap private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Carolyn’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to improve operational performance, implement strategic initiatives, and prepare acquired platforms for add-on acquisitions and de novo growth.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Carolyn was an experienced Director at RSM US LLP in Chicago within the Transaction Advisory Services consulting practice. While at RSM, she provided buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services to a variety of clients, including private equity investors, strategic corporate buyers and lenders, during the acquisition or sale of a company. As part of her role, she served as a trusted advisor to her clients throughout the deal process by providing identification of risk areas and deal synergies, quality of earnings, normalized working capital analyses and review of purchase agreement considerations. Carolyn started her career in Deloitte’s audit practice.

 

Carolyn received her M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, majoring in strategy and finance, and her B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Carolyn is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
