Melody Chen

Melody is a Manager at Shore Capital Partners, a microcap private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Melody’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to improve operational performance, implement strategic initiatives, and prepare acquired platforms for add-on acquisitions and de novo growth.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Melody was a member of the Strategic Finance team at Fetch, a cash-back rewards mobile application. At Fetch, Melody supported several growth and operational initiatives, including Go-to-Market modeling, category expansion, cost benefit analyses, and others. Melody also assisted in developing pitch book and diligence materials to secure $240M in Series E funding for the company. Melody started her career at PwC in Chicago within the Deals platform advising clients undergoing transformative transactions.

 

Melody received her M.B.A and B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University. Melody is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Illinois and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
