Cory Zinn​

Cory is a Director at Shore Capital Partners, a microcap private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Cory’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to improve operational performance, implement strategic initiatives, and prepare acquired platforms for add-on acquisitions and de novo growth.

 

Prior to joining Shore, Cory was an experienced Director at RSM US LLP in Chicago within the Transaction Advisory Services consulting practice, specializing in industrial products, consumer products, and business services. While at RSM, he provided buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services during the acquisition or sale of an operating company to a variety of clients, including private equity investors and strategic corporate buyers. Cory’s primary responsibilities included analyzing target company data to provide meaningful insights around quality of earnings, net working capital, and financial and operating trends, as well as coordinating cross-functional teams performing operational, tax, and IT diligence. Prior to joining RSM, Cory was a manager in Deloitte’s audit practice between Deloitte’s offices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Las Vegas, Nevada, the Cayman Islands, and Chicago, Illinois.

 

Cory received his B.S.B.A. from West Virginia University. Cory is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania.
