We strive to be a value added and engaged partner by providing numerous resources and support, while providing management teams with full operating autonomy.Shore is interested in partnering with entrepreneurs and management teams to identify and consummate acquisitions in their fields of expertise. Utilizing a proactive, research-led investment process, our approach is to support entrepreneurs and management teams with capital, business development expertise, and industry knowledge. We seek to invest in "little leaders" of niche industries throughout North America and help accelerate growth through enhanced operating initiatives and/or industry consolidation strategies.
Shore supports management teams by establishing a framework for success - often through the creation of a strategic growth plan, the addition of experienced outside Board members, and the implementation of an appropriate and deep management incentive program. Once an investment has been made, our ongoing involvement emphasizes business planning and monitoring, retaining and recruiting key executives, and arranging add-on acquisitions and financing.
