Shore follows a three-step investment process. We (i) identify a fast-growing niche in healthcare, (ii) partner with outstanding executives who have decades of experience in that niche, and (iii) invest in "local leaders" well positioned for transformational growth.
Home Infusion
- Shore identified home infusion as a sector of interest in July 2009.
- We partnered with Chris York (CEO) and Mitch Friedman (CFO) in November 2009.
- Together, we made an investment in Sirona Infusion in July 2010, Access IV in January 2011 and opened a de novo branch in Albuquerque, NM in February 2011.
Laboratory Services
- The Shore team had prior laboratory investment experience and began pursuing new investment opportunities in October 2009.
- We partnered with Mike George, Bob DeCresce and Kevin Johnson to evaluate over 50 investment opportunities.
- Together, we made an investment in ClearPath Diagnostics in September 2011.
