Joseph P. Mooney, Operating Partner
Most recently, Joe was an equity owner in Residential Home Health LLC, a small privately-owned Medicare certified home health care company in Michigan. In the six years that Joe was a managing partner, he internally grew the patient census from 60 patients to over 2,000 patients. Joe recruited, hired, trained and managed a group of over 25 sales professionals to build the company into the largest home health care agency in the state of Michigan, with over 450 full time employees. Joe completed and integrated the geographic expansion of Residential Home Health into Chicago with the acquisition of Edward Hospital Home Care, and grew that census from 89 upon transaction closing to a patient census of 275 in just 18 months. In 2010, Joe was chosen from over 10,000 other candidates nationwide as the National Sales/Marketing Executive of the Year, an award sponsored by Heather L. Rooney Strategy Consulting, a highly respected home care consulting firm based in Seattle, Washington.
In addition to Joe's success at Residential Home Health, he was previously recruited to work at Private Business, Inc. a then-publically traded software company based in Nashville, Tennessee that assisted businesses, medical practices and small community hospitals manage cash flow more effectively. After finishing as the #1 individual producer out of over 150 representatives at Private Business Inc., Joe was promoted to Chief Sales Officer, responsible for leading sales and marketing with a headcount of over 300 people. Prior to his time at Private Business, Inc., Joe was previously with Cardinal Health Inc., (CAH), one of the largest drug distribution companies in the world. Joe oversaw the Midwest Region, responsible for top line revenue of $1.2 Billion. After growing revenue by over 32%, Joe was promoted to Vice President, responsible for the largest retail pharmacy accounts in the nation.
Joe graduated from the University of Michigan and serves on the Board of Trustees of CATCH (Caring Athletes Team for Children's and Henry Ford Hospital) and Quest for Breath.
