Ed Miersch, CEO & Owner of MX Physical Therapy
Ed Miersch is MX Physical Therapy’s Chief Executive Officer. He purchased Delaware Curative Workshop (which he renamed MX Physical Therapy) in September 2008, and brings almost 30 years of leadership experience in the outpatient physical rehabilitation industry. During Ed’s career, he served a 14-year tenure as President and Chief Operating Officer of Pat Croce’s Sports Physical Therapists, the pioneer of outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine rehabilitation. Through the 1993 acquisition of Sports Physical Therapists by the former NovaCare, Inc., Ed served as President of the East Region for the organization’s outpatient rehabilitation business. In January 2000, Ed was named President of NovaCare Rehabilitation shortly after its purchase by Select Medical Corporation. More recently, he has been a principal in other health care-related businesses, but his main passion remains outpatient rehabilitation.
